About
I’m Shauna.
I design and build software for businesses that have outgrown their workarounds.
Off the clock: dogs, the ocean, and fixing things that probably didn’t need fixing yet.
01 · Where I come from
Before I built software, I spent a decade running retail programs and marketing operations for companies including Nike and Apple: store-design programs across North America, retail partner presentations from creative through installation, and the schedules, vendors and handoffs that hold that kind of work together.
That’s where I learned what it looks like when a team is held together by spreadsheets, group texts and good intentions, and how much time disappears into the gaps between tools.
Now I design and build the systems that close those gaps.

02 · How I think about systems
I start with how the work actually happens. I want to understand:
- 01Where information comes from
- 02Who needs it next
- 03Where people repeat work
- 04Where decisions get delayed
- 05What happens when something fails
- 06Which problems need software, and which do not
→ Then I design the system around that reality.
03 · Working with me
One person, start to finish
You talk to the person designing and building it. Nothing gets lost in a handoff.
A small number of clients at a time
So your project gets real attention, not a slot in a queue.
Remote from Hawaiʻi
I work with businesses anywhere, and keep things simple: calls when they help, clear updates in between.
Let’s talk about your business.
Tell me what’s slowing you down and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help.
